Navigating around Moodle

Get to the Moodle website Screenshots

1	Type http://education.montepath.com in Internet explorer address bar and press enter
2	Click on ‘Red Moodle (Experimental)’ to access the Moodle homepage.

Login to Moodle Screenshots

1	Click on ‘Login’ link which is found in the top right hand corner of the homepage.
2	Enter your username and password in the username and password blocks on the Login page.
3	Click on the 'Login' button. If the username and password entered are accepted your name displays in the top right hand corner of the homepage. If you have lost your username or password see Lost username or password

Get to my course page Screenshots

1	Click on your course name which is found on the left hand side of the homepage under the ‘My Courses’ title. Course page displays.

Get to other course pages Screenshots

1	Click on 'All courses' which is found on the left hand side of the homepage under the ‘My Courses’ title. Course categories display.
2	Click on the course category of your choice. Course names within the selected category display.
3	Click on the course name. A message displays 'You are about to enroll yourself as a member of this course. Are you sure you wish to do this?'
4	Click on 'Yes'. Course page displays

2	Click on the name part of the quiz link which can be found in any topic box on your course page. It is identified as a quiz by its icon of a box with a red tick.
3	Click on ‘Attempt Quiz now’. Quiz displays
4	Click once with your mouse in the circle next to the answer of your choice.
5	Click on 'Save my answers' to proceed with reviewing your etest. Note: If you wish to review your etest at least one answer has to be selected.
6	Click on OK to continue

Navigate within Moodle Screenshots

1	Click on a link of the highlighted navigation bar which is found close to the top of all site pages (except homepage). A previously viewed section page displays.
2	Click on the ‘Path Ed’ link of the navigation bar to return to the homepage. ‘Path Ed’ is the first link appearing on the navigation bar.

Using the 'Jump To' feature of Moodle Screenshots

1	Click on the 'Jump To' option box which contains the name of the topic item you are currently viewing. It displays in the top right hand corner of the page. When clicked a dropdown menu displays listing all the topic items available in the course.
2	Click on the topic item you wish to make your current focus and it displays.
